Neck pain
Neck pain is a very common problem in young professionals having a computer job. They sit for almost 7-9 hours every day in front of a computer screen in bad posture, straining the neck. “The number one reason for neck pain in this age is sitting in front of a computer or laptop in awkward positions.Neck pain can be dull or sharp, sudden or gradual, brief or chronic, and causes can vary widely from benign to emergency conditions.
Wrist pain/numbness
A common cause of wrist pain is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. You may feel aching, burning, numbness, or tingling in your palm, wrist, thumb, or fingers. The thumb muscle can become weak, making it difficult to grasp things. Pain may go up to your elbow.
Low back pain
Low back pain (LBP) is very common among Professionals. A number of occupational risk factors have been shown to increase the risk for LBP. One of these risk factors is exposure to whole-body vibration, which is a known characteristic in driving professions. One of the most common causes of low back pain is muscle strain. A violent or jerking motion or an over-extension of the back muscles usually causes back muscle strains.
Shoulder pain
Shoulder pain often stems from prolonged, repetitive, or awkward movements. This type of pain is sometimes referred to as repetitive strain injury (RSI) or cumulative trauma disorder.RSIs are frequently caused by tasks at work. Small, repetitive activities can strain the muscles and tendons of your upper body, including your shoulder.
Headaches
Headaches are a very common condition that most people will experience many times during their lives. The main symptom of a headache is pain in your head or face. This can be throbbing, constant, sharp, or dull.
Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory, and mood issues. Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way your brain and spinal cord process painful and nonpainful signals.
